5 out of 5 stars Pawley's Island makes quality products   July 16, 2010

Not my first Pawley's Island hammock and I'm sure it won't be the last. I've had them for over twenty years and will always go back for the best look and feel for the price. I love the stand as well.

5 out of 5 stars Replaces my Hatteras   July 9, 2010
Gepetto (Mendota Heights, MN)
This hammock is as good or better than the Hatteras I replaced. The Hatteras is great and lasted a long time but I can just tell that this is of the same quality and about $20-$40 less in price. Recommended.

5 out of 5 stars Comfy Lazy Days   July 9, 2010
Jerry (New York USA)
This is a comfortable, very attractive hammock. The natural, brown color has a natural look to it, and will not get dirty as white strings. I expect the pretty soft Cords to last longer than real rope too.
If you hang it about 4 feet over the ground, stretched out, it has enough clearance when you lie down.
Fast shipping and good packing, makes Amazon a favorite place to shop.

5 out of 5 stars Most Under Rated Hammock on Amazon!   July 2, 2010
PTB (Albuquerque New Mexico, USA)
I almost didn't buy this hammock because of some of the other reviews. I have to say this is an amazing hammock. It looks so much better in person than the picture I can't even begin to describe how surprised and pleased I was when I took it out of the box. The ropes are so comfortable I suppose I may not have believed it had they said so.

The craftsmanship is also top notch. The knots all seem very secure and look consistent with each other. The antique brown color looks so inviting that you'll just want to jump right on it. The spreaders are also look very classy, this is definitely a hammock I will want to show off to my friends.

I've got some beautiful pics and will upload as soon as I figure out how.

If you are on the ropes do not hesitate, this is one fine hammock!!!

5 out of 5 stars Very Comfortable Hammock   June 22, 2010
A. Stephan (Washington State)
We have gone through several cotton rope hammocks over the past 5 years. They tend to rot, discolor, and break over 1-2 years. I was unsure of the DuraCord material, but we were pleasantly surprised that is is much softer than cotton. We have only used it for a month, so I am unsure about the longevity of the material.

The only complaint that I have heard is that my wife and 5 year old granddaughter (the most frequent user) don't care for my choice of color. I chose the Antique brown to hide the dirt, and they prefer white. Maybe next time.
