Bigger than I expected or wanted for a "change of clothes" duffel but I really like the lower/separate/zippered compartment for an extra pair of shoes. I bought it on sale at Amazon because I thought it was over priced at suggested retail price on High Sierra webpage but it is very well constructed and should last for a long time. It works well as a carry-on for the airlines for a change of clothes, shoes, camera and other valuables for BOTH my wife and myself. Easy to carry with handle OR shoulder strap. I would definitely recommend any High Sierra product.
Well thought-out ski bag June 12, 2010

I've been searching for an alpine ski boot bag for quite a few years, but none have been that appealing. For some reason this style of bag doesn't pop out in ski boot bag product searches. I wanted a bag that could store my Salomon Evo boots, my helmet and goggles. If it could store more of my skiwear without becoming unwieldy, so much the better. I took a chance on this bag. It seemed to be the right design for me with boot storage below and additional storage above at a very attractive price. I didn't need a backpack design for alpine gear.
I received prompt shipment from Amazon as usual. I am absolutely thrilled with what I'm able to store in this bag. My boots fit perfectly in the lower compartment. The upper portion swallowed up ALL the rest of my skiwear including helmet, goggles, pants, two pairs of gloves, two fleece jackets, my shell and numerous articles of underwear and socks for different conditions.
The bag seems to be constructed fairly well with decent quality materials, though it could be improved by not using coil zippers. I can't say how well the bag will holdup to air travel. All the skiing I do is reachable in a car so that isn't important to me. I highly recommend this bag. It is a good value.
