5 out of 5 stars Lightweight and Sturdy   July 13, 2010

I bought two of these for canoeing trips. They are lightweight and very sturdy. It is a million times better than sitting on a log or rock.

5 out of 5 stars Buy this!   May 26, 2010

This was the best thing I ever bought that is work-related. I work in construction and require a lot of walking, standing and waiting. This fits inside my backpack. Easy to open and close. Everyone that sees me using it always asks me where I got it. It's very good and cheap. It hasn't broke yet so hopefully I don't gain weight enough for it to not hold my weight anymore. But would really recommend for anyone looking for something like this.

Could not get stool to open so could sit on it - returned to Co for refund.

5 out of 5 stars Haven't been fully tested but looks good so far!   March 28, 2010

I got these for my son and nephew for Scouting events/campouts. So far they have only used them at home for video gaming (go figure)! I will say that the relative light weight and compact fold should work well for backpacking and wilderness camping, so if they keep holding up as well as they have so far we will be happy with them!

4 out of 5 stars Small but sturdy   February 21, 2010

The Coleman Trekking Stool is very light weight, compact and surprisingly sturdy. I am 5'11" and weigh 165 lbs and found this stool to support me very well for around 20 to 30 minutes at a time but then it was necessary to get up and move around, otherwise the extremities began falling asleep. I would not recommend this stool for anyone heavier than me, I feel my size/weight is about at the limit of the stool. I had a friend try out the stool and I think he almost broke it (he weighs around 200 and is about 6'2"). I feel this was well worth the price and believe the stool will last for some time based on the quality of the construction. It has already provided great service for the past month and I will continue to use it on a somewhat regular basis (I work on cell site equipment and there are never any places to sit while programming the equipment). I would have given this product 5 stars if I could have sat in it for longer periods of time without having to get up to get the blood flowing.
