The harness is pretty good, and the chalk back is decent enough, I just wish I had spent a few extra dollars getting everything separate and gotten exactly what I wanted. There are so many different styles of chalk bags out there, and this one isn't one of the ones I would have chosen. It's really shallow and the color I got (bronse plaid type thing) is pretty lame.
I also climb at a gym indoors that doesn't allow you to use the ATC device, so that's pretty much useless for me.
I would say it's probably smart to just spend the extra couple of dollars getting the items you actually want individually rather than getting something that is 'good enough' and 5 or 10 bucks cheaper.

I was more interested in the ATC and chalkbag, so I purchased this with the intention of giving the harness away. I have a similar Momentum, and appreciate its lightweight design. Despite the padding on leg loops, it still has a tendency to cut into your thighs if there is a lot of tension on the rope. Not great for long hauls. The ATC and carabiner are just as expected, with the ATC being a very simple variety, no high friction side though. The chalk bag I got was also surprising, being a neon purple color. Great quality on all items regardless. I'd recommend this to the beginner, as long as they don't mind what their chalk bag looks like.
